In late February this year, our Chairman and Managing Director, Chye and Darren Tan, travelled to Rome to commemorate a truly special milestone — the 50th anniversary of our valued partners, Viaggi del Mappamondo.

Set against the timeless beauty of the Eternal City, the celebration brought together partners and friends from across the global travel industry to honour five decades of passion, dedication and evolution. For World Express, it was also a meaningful moment to celebrate a long-standing partnership built on trust, shared values, and a collective commitment to crafting exceptional travel experiences.

Another standout experience was the exclusive visit to the renowned Forum Studios, founded by the legendary Ennio Morricone. Guests were also given the rare privilege of stepping into Maestro Morricone’s studios — a truly unique experience, especially for those who have long been inspired by his timeless compositions.

More than a celebration of an incredible 50-year journey, the trip was a reminder of the enduring relationships and shared moments that define our industry.
